Ingredients Quantity
russet potato 1
vegetable frying oil 1 quort
salt 26 oz

Step 1:Soak potatoes in a large bowl of water for about 30 minutes. Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.

Step 2:Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Gently add the potatoes in the hot oil for about 5 minutes, stirring and flipping the potatoes occasionally. Remove potatoes from oil with a slotted spoon to drain on paper towel and to cool completely.

Step 3Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Fry the potatoes again until golden brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Blot with a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt to serve.

active dry yeast 1

warm water 1-1/4 cups
canola oil 1/4 cups
salt 1 teaspoon
all-purpose floor 3-1/2 cups
ground beef 1/2 pound
small onion chopped 1
tomato sauce 1 can(15 ounces)
dried oregano 3 teaspoons
dried basil 1 teaspoon
medium green pepper,sliced 1
shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese 2 cups

Step 1:In large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add oil and salt. Stir in flour, a cup at a time, until a soft dough forms. .

Step 2:Turn onto floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 2-3 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

Step 3Punch down dough; divide in half. Press each into a greased 12-in. pizza pan. Combine the tomato sauce, oregano and basil; spread over each crust. Top with beef mixture, green pepper and cheese.

Step 4Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.

eggs,whisked 3
medium carrots,small dice 2
cloves garlic,minced 3
frozen peas,thawed 1 cup
cooked and chilled rice(either white or brown) 4
low sodium soy sauce 3 tablespoons
oyster sauce 2 tablespoons
sesame oil 1 teaspoon

Step 1:Heat 1 tablespoon of butter into a large skillet.

Step 2:Add the eggs and scramble until fully cooked. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

Step 3Add the remaining tablespoon of butter into the pan.

Step 4Add carrots and onion to the pan and cook until tender, 3-4 minutes.

Step 5Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute

Step 6Add in the cold rice and peas and sauté for 3-4 minutes. The rice should brown up a bit.

Step 7Add the eggs back to the pan and stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Step 8Serve immediaately with green onions if desired
